I am experimenting with panoramic image stitching software to create high resolution images, A problem with big stitched images is how to display them. One answer is to host large multi-pixel images on the Web in a way that a browser can zoom in to see the fine detail. This is accomplished with Zoomify software. Click on a thumbnail image below to open up a Zoomify picture.
  Click the little icon in the top right picture corner to show a toolbar at the bottom of the picture. Use the toolbar icons to pan and zoom the picture. Drag the triangle on top of the toolbar to adjust the zoom. You can also drag the picture to pan.
  Resize your browser window to full screen to get the biggest picture.
